Walmart joins an Ethereum-based blockchain program for tracking pharmaceuticals called MediLedger
Walmart has joined MediLedger, an Ethereum ($ETH)-based blockchain program for tracking pharmaceuticals. Walmart is already enrolled in IBM's Food Trust, a similar service for food supplies. Built by San Francisco's Chronicled, MediLedger runs on a Proof-of-Authority consensus algorithm and is launching a pilot program with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration soon.
