🇨🇳 Venues banned from hosting crypto events in Beijing's finance district
The downtown Beijing district government has now banned commercial properties from hosting events relating to "cryptocurrency talks and promotion." The missive appeared to have been issued on Aug. 17th, 2018 from the financial service department of Beijing's Chaoyang district. The news follows a recent crackdown on Chinese crypto media accounts on WeChat.
