🇻🇪 Venezuela’s crypto exchanges, miners must register under new rules
Venezuela's Ministry of Popular Power for Communication and Information (MIPPCI) has issued a decree containing 63 articles on crypto regulation. All crypto related firms will have to register with overseeing agency Sunacrip on penalty of 100-300 petros. Firms that do not comply with Sunacrip or the newly published decree face 1-3 years prison, a fine of 50-100 petros, and possible seizure of assets like mining rigs.
