The Department of Defense is looking to blockchain technology to aid relief efforts. In wake of Puerto Rico's Hurricane Maria, the DoD investigated blockchain for supply chain and data tracking. The DoD is the third government agency, alongside the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Navy, to investigate blockchain.
