[UPDATE] ❎Ripple offered multimillion-dollar XRP bonuses to lure top tech talent

Ripple is aggressively courting engineers during the bear market, offering contracts with $1-3 million in salary bonuses. The company currently has about 90 engineers or tech experts and hired around 100 staff in 2018. Ripple is hiring to expand its software capabilities and support its RippleNet mobile wallets and payout processes.

Update: A Ripple spokesperson has clarified that “Ripple does not offer engineering compensation packages that include XRP bonuses. In late 2018, we found out that a contracted recruiter was incorrectly suggesting to prospective employees that such packages were available. That individual has not worked on our behalf in months.”
