👩‍⚖️ [Update] Federal judge green lights Tezos lawsuit in the U.S. while judge lets Tim Draper off for now

A judge has ruled that a class action lawsuit against Tezos can proceed in the U.S. While Tezos is a Swiss based foundation, it is supported by Distributed Ledger Solutions, a U.S. entity owned by founders Arthur and Kathleen Brietman. According to the judge, “the two entities [were] deeply intertwined, if not functionally interchangeable, throughout the ICO process." Additionally, the judge also ruled that Draper had no direct control over Tezos, which means he could not be held individually responsible as a “control person,” thereby putting Draper in the clear for now.
