[Update] πŸ—οΈ Dubai property giant starts accepting Bitcoin and Ethereum

The UAE's Emaar Properties, developer of the world's tallest skyscraper, is now accepting Bitcoin ($BTC) and Ether ($ETH). The company, which has a yearly revenue of $6 billion, is using Swiss-based broker Bitcoin Suisse to convert crypto payments to fiat. Update: Bloomberg reports that Emaar Properties has officially denied the story concerning its acceptance of cryptocurrency. According to a Emaar spokesperson, β€œEmaar does not accept payment in digital currency. Emaar only accepts payment in government-issued currency, primarily in U.A.E. dirham and U.S. dollar.”
