Unstoppable Domains launches a blogging service

Today, crypto startup Unstoppable Domains Inc. launched “dBlog”, a decentralized blog service for all .crypto domains. User data is stored and managed using 3Box and dBlogs are hosted on IPFS (InterPlanetary File System). Each .crypto domain replaces a standard crypto wallet address enabling payments of various cryptocurrencies that can be sent directly to any .crypto website. dBlog can be accessed using a chrome browser extension or from a browser that supports the dBlog service. Currently, only Opera for Android supports dBlog's natively.

Why it matters:

  • The new blogging service provides standard blogging tools seen on platforms like Medium and Substack. Additionally, dBlog will enable censorship resistance websites that will not be controlled by centralized domain name controllers like Verisign and ICANN.
  • Unstoppable Domains Founder, Brad Kam previously stated that over 200,000 domains have been registered and now all of these domain owners will be able to create dBlogs.
