UNICEF launches crypto fund and the Ethereum Foundation provides first contribution

UNICEF launched a crypto fund that will receive contributions and issue grants in Bitcoin ($BTC) and Ethereum ($ETH) as it aims to back open-source technology for its wider goal. The organization added the Ethereum Foundation provided the first contribution, a donation of 100 ETH. It also announced the first three grantees are Prescrypto, Atix Labs, and Utopixar, which focus on “prescription tracking, matching investors and those needing funding, and community tokens and engagement," respectively.
