🛢️ U.S. Treasury sanctions Russian bank over links to Venezuela’s Petro
In response to Russian and Venezuelan state bank Evrofinance Mosnarbank's financing of Nicolas Maduro's Petro cryptocurrency and state oil company PdVSA, the U.S. Treasury has listed and blocked all transactions related to the bank. Evrofinance was a key vehicle for early investors purchases of the oil-backed cryptocurrency.
