🇺🇸 U.S. House passes update to accredited investor rules

As part of the JOBS Act 3.0, the U.S. House passed legislation that would allow Americans with qualifying education or experience to invest in products not available to the general public. Current regulation requires that investors meet wealth or income tests to access products like hedge funds, venture capital, and early stage equity. If confirmed by the Senate, the SEC will be tasked with determining the appropriate criteria.
