Two suspects in EtherDelta hack indicted by U.S. authorities

Two defendants, Elliot Gunton and Anthony Tyler Nashatka, have been indicted by the U.S. attorney's office for the Northern District of California in relation to a hack of decentralized exchange EtherDelta. According to the indictment, in Dec 2017 Gunton and Nashatka modified the domain naming service for the site and redirected users to a fake site where the pair was able "to obtain their cryptocurrency address, private keys, and withdrew funds contained in those cryptocurrency addresses." Using this system Gunton and Nashatka were allegedly able to steal at least $800,000 in crypto from EtherDelta users.
