🏊 Two pools control 50 percent of Bitcoin Cash hasrate

According to blockchain statistics site coin.dance, two mining pools control half of the Bitcoin Cash ($BCH) hashrate. The two pools, Calvin Ayer's Coingeek and Craig Wright's BMG Pool, have controlled around 44 percent of the hashrate over the past week, but that number jumped to 58 percent earlier today and has since settled at around 50 percent. A debate around scalability upgrades has created the potential for a fork in Bitcoin Cash, with Wright's BitcoinSV competing against the Bitcoin ABC chain.
