Two exchanges, LBank and Bit-Z, recently overtook Binance for highest trade volume, but research by The Tie suggests CoinMarketCap failed to filter out the two exchange's artificial volumes and wash trading. Research on LBank showed it traded an average of $65,850 per user site visit, as compared to Binance's $750, Bittrex's $138, or Coinbase Pro's $341.
