The Trump Administration established a new task force within the Department of Justice to focus on Market Integrity and Consumer Fraud. Among other things, the task force will specifically provide guidance for the investigation and prosecution of cases involving "digital currency fraud". Members of the Task Force include the director of the FBI, various U.S. Attorneys and Assistant Attorney Generals across multiple divisions (Criminal, Civil, Tax, Antitrust). Additionally, the Task Force will also have participation from agencies such as the Treasury, FTC, SEC, CFTC, FDIC, and OCC.
