Cryptocurrency exchange QuadrigaCX continues to stumble after its site went down for unexpected maintenance Monday, Jan. 28, 2019. No social media updates were given to customer frustration. The unexpected shutdown lies in the shadow of both the untimely death of founder and CEO Gerald Cotten last December and the end of an asset custody dispute with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC). As of time of writing, the site continue to be down.
