TLDR: What's ApeCoin?

Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) has taken the crypto world by storm. Since minting at a price of 0.08 ETH in April 2021, BAYC has reached a floor price of 89 ETH at the time of writing. They recently passed CryptoPunks to become the world’s most valuable NFT collection.

BAYC gained popularity for their bustling community and roadmap for long-term ecosystem growth. The roadmap highlighted in-person events, future airdrops of companion NFTs, and much more. But holders were most excited at the hint of a token. In Q4 2021, the token was confirmed for a Q1 2022 launch.
