🐘 Thailand green lights issuance and trading of blockchain securities
Thailand’s National Legislative Assembly has given the thumbs up for issuing and trading blockchain backed securities. The Thai Securities and Exchange (SEC) will amend the statue which will go into effect later this year. Prior to the ruling, only one firm, the Thailand Securities Depository Co Ltd, a subsidiary of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), was allowed to issue digital assets.
