📥 Texas House Bill 4371 introduces heavy regulation of cryptocurrency

The Texas Legislature has put forward HB 4371 which demands prior identification of the sending party before transactions with digital currency can be accepted. All state transactions must also go through a verified identity digital currency. The bill defines verified identity digital currencies as a "digital currency that allows the true identities of the sender and the receiver to be known before a person has access to another person’s digital wallet."
