🗑️ Tether announces destruction of 500m USDT from treasury wallet

Tether announced on Wednesday that it would will destroy 500 million tether ($USDT) tokens from the Tether treasury wallet following the continuous redemption of a significant amount of tokens from circulation over the past week. The remaining USDT (approximately 466 million) will be left in the wallet as a “preparatory measure for future USDT issuances.”
