Symbiont brings blockchain to index data gathering with plans for expansion
Following three months of testing, Vanguard has signed on with smart contract firm Symbiont to launch a blockchain-based index data gathering service. Symbiont will help manage Vanguard's CRSP benchmark data which allocates information for 17 funds. Vanguard praised the firm's blockchain service as both timely and accurate.
