🧀 Swiss ‘smart card’ crypto wallet tangem gets $15 million from Japan’s SBI Group
Japanese financial giant SBI Group is investing $15 million in Switzerland's Tangem, manufacturer of a cryptocurrency 'smart card' wallet. Tangem is hoping to increase cryptocurrency adoption via smart cards similarly used for traveling and loyalty programs. Tangem is also focused on a future ICO token distribution and anti-counterfeiting measures. The investment in Tangem by SBI is another in a string of recent investments, including last weeks announced investment in Swiss wallet startup Breadwinner AG.
