🔌 Suspected electricity thief arrested after mining $3 million in Bitcoin, Ether
According to a report from EBC Dongsen News, a Mr. Yang was arrested under suspicion of stealing electricity valued at over NT$100 million ($3.25 million). Yang allegedly hired electricians at his various businesses to redesign wiring so he could evade metering and would then use the stolen electricity to mine Bitcoin ($BTC) and Ethereum($ETH).
