👺 State Senator reports to jail pending verdict in cryptocurrency fraud case
Georgia state Senator Michael Williams (R) reported to jail over false police report and a false statement. In May, Williams claimed to have server worth $300,000 stolen from his office. Williams handed himself over to custody after a grand jury indicted him on three counts pertaining to the false claims. The prosecution team is considering the theft never occurred.
