😟 South Korean exchange loses $5 Million in accidental Bitcoin airdrop
A computer error changed cryptocurrency exchange Coinnest's airdrop from We Game Tokens (WGT) to Bitcoin ($BTC). Some $5.3 million worth of Bitcoin was sent to airdrop participants along with an unstated amount of Korean won. Coinnest has asked users to return funds and is rolling back transactions to restore lost assets.
