South Korea's largest telecom company is investing $10 million in the ConsenSys crypto fund

SK, the largest telecommunications company in South Korea, is investing $10 million according to Chosun. On July 2, an SK spokesperson said that the amount of investment has not been conclusively decided yet but the company is participating in ConsenSys's crypto fund.

Created by Joseph Lubin, ConsenSys has been focusing on developing various solutions, applications, companies, and platforms around Ethereum, the second most valuable crypto asset in the global market.

Local reports indicated that SK chairman Chey Tae-won, whose net worth is estimated to be at $2.8 billion, is demonstrating a high level of interest in blockchain technology and the tokenized economy.
