💒 Some Nevada governments using blockchain for public records

According to a report from the Reno Gazette-Journal, as of December 2018 around 950 couples in Washoe County, Nevada had received digital marriage certificates as part of a program that launched in April of that year, while Elko County is piloting similar technology. According to a representative related to the program Washoe Country chose the Ethereum ($ETH) blockchain because it has computing power that makes it hard to hack.
