🤗 Smaller countries welcome crypto startups with open arms

Bermuda, Malta, Gibraltar, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein are just some examples of countries that are creating special legislation and other measures designed to attract crypto startups. As regulation remains unclear in larger countries like the United States and China, where crypto exchanges have been outright banned, smaller nations are creating laws that make operating a crypto related company more straghtforward. Malta recently passed three laws making it easier to issue and trade cryptoassets while Bermuda has expedited the application process for startups looking to issue tokens. For these small countries, the potential for new jobs and increased tax revenue are attractive benefits from the emerging industry of token funded networks and related exchanges.
