🥤 SEC subpoenas Long Blockchain

Long Blockchain, which changed its name from Long Island Iced Tea in a promised pivot to blockchain technology, disclosed that it had received a subpoena from the SEC. The announcement comes four months after the firm was delisted from the Nasdaq stock exchange. In February the firm warned that it risked being delisted because the SEC believed it had "made a series of public statements designed to mislead investors and to take advantage of general investor interest in bitcoin and blockchain technology."
