Russian Finance Minister says crypto bill could allow trading but not payments
A Russian government official has hinted at what might materialize in Russia after its slowly developing cryptocurrency bill finally passes. Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseyev told journalists that among the options currently being discussed is to allow the buying and selling of cryptocurrencies, but crypto payments are not on the table. But the bill could still see cryptocurrency use banned outright.
