Ripple seeks to improve accuracy of XRP volume and sales data

In response to multiple industry reports showing inflated exchange trading volumes Ripple has announced that it will change the way it sells treasury tokens. In a blog post the company stated that it will work with partners to understand the scope of this issue and will look at alternative sources of data for calculating sales. Historically, Ripple has targeted programatic sales equal to 0.20% of XRP volume based on CoinMarketCap data. In the second quarter of 2019 Ripple plans to be more conservative with this target, cutting it to around 0.10% of volume.
