😨 Riot Blockchain and MGT Capital CEOs charged by SEC in penny stock scheme
John O’Rourke of Riot Blockchain and Robert Ladd of MGT Capital have both been named as defendants in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) complaint related to $27 million of alleged "pump-and-dump" schemes. Neither Riot Blockchain nor MGT Capital were named in the complaint though it appears MGT shares might have been involved. O’Rourke has officially resigned from Riot while Ladd announced a leave of absence from MGT.
