💰 Retail brokerage TD Ameritrade backs new crypto exchange
Brokerage firm TD Ameritrade is investing in a new cryptocurrency exchange built by Chicago-based derivatives market Eris Exchange LLC. The ErisX platform will let investors trade bitcoin ($BTC), ether ($ETH), bitcoin cash ($BCH), and litecoin ($LTC), as well as futures contracts for cryptocurrencies. The exchange is also backed by DRW Holdings and Virtu Financial.
