🆕 Ping An’s new pitch for blockchain: shared ledger, but banks keep clients

Ping An, the Chinese insurance giant that built the eTradeConnect blockchain, is modifying the platform to give its banks more control over customer relationships. Businesses will now have to sign up through individual banks instead of going to a central portal. The project attempts to make it easier for customers to obtain further financing, but also prevent them from borrowing from multiple banks and exceeding their credit lines.
