Peter McCormack calls Craig Wright 'wholly discredited' in legal defense

Lawyers representing Peter McCormack, host of the popular Bitcoin podcast What Bitcoin Did, have filed their response, according to reporting by Decrypt's Ben Munster. Notably, McCormack's defense argues that Wright was already “wholly discredited” well before McCormack's claims that Wright is a fraud were made on Twitter. Moreover, the defense argues that Wright is being "hugely wasteful" of the court's time by refusing to offer cryptographic proof that he is indeed Satoshi Nakamoto. Munster also notes that McCormark's lawyers argue the alleged libel took the form of a tweet, which they explain is “more akin to verbal banter than edited news copy.”
