🔖 Overstock’s tZERO wins patent for integrating crypto with legacy trading tech
Security token platform tZERO has been awarded a patent focused on merging legacy markets with digital asset markets. The new platform would combine market information in order to find the best price and cryptographically sign orders prior to matching and executing transactions. tZERO notes in the patent that the platform can be used for a wide range of assets including digital assets, liabilities, commodities, cryptocurrencies, tokens, or cash and that it could be used for primary and secondary securities issuance.
