Overstock.com, the online retail business, has moved CTO Joel Wright to COO of Medici Ventures, the companies blockchain venture fund. Wright replaces Steve Hopkins, who now leads Medici's tZERO, a security trading token platform launching this week. This leadership shuffle all takes place within CEO Patrick Byrne actively looking to sell Overstock.com to raise funds for Medici investments.
