OneCoin claims it’s not a Ponzi or pyramid scheme

OneCoin is fighting back against Ponzi and pyramid scheme allegations, according to CoinDesk. Responding to a story by the Samoa Observer concerning the Central Bank of Samoa's recent comments on the embattled cryptocurrency, OneCoin said it does not fit the definition of either a Ponzi or pyramid scheme. In March, the founder's of OneCoin was charged with wire fraud, securities fraud, and money laundering by prosecutors from the U.S. Southern District of New York.
