🔻 Nvidia reports large decline in revenue from crypto miners
Chip producer Nvidia, which produces graphics cards popular with crypto miners, reported a substantial decline in sales related to mining operations. Earnings released on Thursday showed revenue of $18 million from crypto related purchases which failed to meet earlier projections of $100 million from the company. Nvidia's CFO Colette Kress stated that while the firm expected solid revenue from the segment for 2018 they are now projecting no additional gains from crypto related sales.
