🗽New York sticks with crypto, opening blockchain center amid rout

The New York City Economic Development Corporation will move ahead with plans to open its 4,000 square foot Blockchain Center in Manhattan on Thursday. The Flatiron District based space will offer everything from coding classes to lunch lectures for software developers and the general public. Ongoing funding for the space will be provided through membership dues and corporate partnerships, with Microsoft Corp. and International Business Machines noted as early sponsors.
