🗽 New York forms blockchain study task force, hints at BitLicense update
Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) signed a blockchain and cryptocurrency task force into existence last month according to a press release from Assemblyman Clyde Vanel (D-NY). The task force's members, who will be appointed by Cuomo, the state Senate, and assembly, are chored with studying cryptocurrency and blockchain potential, regulation, and effects on New York state. The report must be submitted by Dec. 15, 2020.
