🚫 Multiple crypto media accounts banned from WeChat
As reported by Chinese financial news outlet Lanjinger some large crypto media sources appear to have been banned from messaging platform WeChat. Jinse, a site for token news and information, displayed only a message indicating a violation of "Temporary Regulations on the Development and Management of Public Information Services for Instant Messaging Tools" and a note that all content was banned and prohibited from use. Other accounts, including Deepchain, Huobi News, and CoinDaily, displayed the same message for users. While the exact reason remains unclear, the rule cited was enacted by the Cyberspace Administration on August 7th.
