🎓 MIT, Stanford researchers to fund new ‘globally scalable’ cryptocurrency, ‘Unit-e’

Researchers from MIT, Stanford, and the University of California, Berkeley, are claiming to have developed a "better Bitcoin ($BTC)." The project, funded by Distributed Technologies Research (DTR) and Pantera Capital expects to launch its new cryptocurrency, "Unit-e" later this year. The researchers claim their blockchain will will be able to process 10,000 transactions per second, more than Visa.
