💱 Messaging giant LINE announces plans for a cryptocurrency exchange
Japanese messaging app LINE announced that it will be launching a cryptocurrency exchange called BITBOX. The exchange is scheduled to be released in July 2018 and will support 30 different cryptocurrencies with crypto-to-crypto trading functionalities. However, the exchange will not support fiat exchanges. Additionally, BITBOX will support 15 different languages which will benefit its existing diverse user base. It is to be noted that the exchange will exclude Japanese and American citizens as those countries have stringent regulatory hurdles for crypto exchanges.
