⌨️McAfee: crypto-mining malware grew by over 4,000 percent in 2018
According to a new report from cybersecurity firm McAfee, instances of crypt mining malware grew by 4,467 percent over the past year. In the third quarter of 2018 alone there were a total of four million new mining malware threats, up from less than 500,000 in 2017.
