👀 LocalBitcoins statement on the coming AML regulations and compliance

In light of last summer's European Commission 5th Anti-Money Laundering Directive, peer-to-peer crypto exchange LocalBitcoins is updating its security procedures. Although not technically necessary till 2020, the Finish company is under pressure from national law which adopted the EC's stance. Security updates will include new registration procedures, ID verification, and verification's triggered by certain wallet withdrawals or trade volumes.
