😨 LocalBitcoins resumes outgoing transactions after warnings of phishing link on forum
P2P crypto exchange LocalBitcoins experienced a phishing attack via a third party forum. A vulnerability on an official forum was exploited by hackers to post a phishing link to LocalBitcoins. LocalBitcoins said six users were effected, with one Reddit user losing about eight Bitcoin ($BTC) worth around $28,000. LocalBitcoins momentarily shut down outgoing transactions due to the attack.
