Libra could potentially suffer from a "34% attack" vulnerability

The Libra network could be disrupted by only one-third of all the nodes, according to SludgeFeed's reading of Facebook's Libra white paper released on Tuesday. Similar to the traditional concept of a 51% attack, Facebook's Libra seems vulnerable to a "34% attack" based on this quote from the white paper: “This approach builds trust in the network because BFT consensus protocols are designed to function correctly even if some validator nodes — up to one-third of the network — are compromised or fail.”
