Libra can “destroy” central and commercial banks, says BitMEX CEO
Libra, Facebook’s much anticipated cryptocurrency project, can “destroy central and commercial banks,” said BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes in an interview with Bloomberg. Hayes also discussed the recent rebound of Bitcoin’s ($BTC) price since the beginning of 2019 and the record-setting trading volume of BitMEX’s derivative products. “There is something going on here in crypto,” Hayes explained.
