🇰🇷 Kakao's crypto unit raises $90 million in private coin offering
Kakao Corp. raised $90 million during its October to December initial fundraising round via a private coin offering and is launching another round tomorrow in preparation blockchain platform launch expected this summer. The platform, Klaytn, will be loaded with applications by Kakao's blockchain group Ground X which already has 26 companies on board. Kakao is mulling loading its messaging system onto Klaytn.
